In this short scene, Ren tells his younger brother that he is afraid of being caught in the crossfire of bandits. He tells Ren that he has seen a group of the bandits coming towards them, and Ren is sure that they are in the village. Ren tells the men to search the house and kill the bandits if they find Ren. He says that if Ren were awake, he would have chased the bandits away and they would not have had to flee for their lives. Ren says that he will lead the men away from the house.
