The monster tells Lin that he is the one who caused her illness in the first place, because he couldn't figure out the cause of her body's weakness. He tells her that he wants to make her parents happy, because they have been looking for her medical treatment everywhere. He also wants to go to school, although he can't because of his illness, because sometimes he feels that being at home with his family makes him happy. He goes on to say that after going with his mother to ask the sorceress's blessing, his body started to improve, and he was able to attend college. The monster says that he just wants to enjoy the moment with Lin, but that he's the source of Lin's constant illness. He says that if he hadn't told her about the dream snake, Lin would have never had to suffer through the pain. He promises that he will make her life even better.
