The next morning, Lin's mother tells him that his energy level is too high for a dream demon to eat him, and that Lin is afraid of dream demons because he knows that they exist. She tells him about his childhood, when he was frail and sickly, and how he was unable to attend school. When he was 12, he was able to go back to school, but then he fainted and was taken to an ambulance. At the end of the chapter, the auntie gives him some medicine and tells him to take it home and eat it.
