The chapter opens with a description of the dream demon Lin you, who lives over there. Lin's health has never been good, and he's never been able to attend school, so he doesn't have a lot of friends. He's always happy to see his family, and every time he goes to visit them, he always has a good time. The narrator tells us that Lin is very fond of his dream demon, and that he hopes the two of them can work things out so that they can be friends.
