In this chapter, the narrator explains that he is not interested in seeing the face of his ex-boyfriend. He wants to know if he is his first love. He explains that dream demons are integrated into human society so that they can eat dreams. He says that he started to treat his dream friends as his "good friends" but that he was wrong about one of them and that they never saw each other again.
