This chapter opens with a conversation between Lin and Kui. Lin tells Kui that he doesn't have any feelings for him. He asks if he can still be friends if they admit that they like each other. Kui tells Lin that he looks surprised that Lin likes him. Lin says that if he is not the one who likes him, then there is no need for him to tolerate extra intimacy. Lin is so happy that she can't believe that Kui also likes her.
