In this chapter, the younger brother of the second-in-command tells his older brother that he cannot be killed. The younger brother is a powerful imperial guard, and if he is killed, he will hunt the older brother down. The older brother tells his younger brother that the Ge family is responsible for the attack, and that killing him will do nothing good. The elder brother says that he is not done yet, and he will crush the family with his own hands the next day. He tells his brother that tomorrow he will kill the entire Ge family. He asks if the elder brother is okay, and tells him that he heard that he invited many expert warriors to attack Linwutian. He says that the man who killed the foreign assassins in one night is the one who has emerged as the top fighter in the whole of the clan. He also tells the elder brothers that the matter has reached this point, and even killing the man will not help, since he is ruthless. He then asks where the elder man is, and the elder tells him to get him out of the way so that he can face his death. He explains that he has inquired about the matter, and there is no need for such havoc. If he was not strong enough, they would have killed him, he says. He thinks that he just hopes this grievance can be resolved here, so that no one will be forgiven. He adds that he will hand over the guilty party, and so that everyone else can live.
