In this chapter, the "king of the wolves" explains that he is the offspring of the "dark descendants" of wolves. He is the chief of the tribe of "derivatives," or "half-breeds." He tells the audience that many of his followers are his nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and even great-great-grandchildren. He tells them that he has traveled the world many times and has met many people, including a master named Long. Long's sword is "unfathomable lethal," so lethal that it can split mountains and rivers.
