Amaterasu is killed by Lin-wutian, who tells him that he is the god of the north and that he has killed all the enemies of the south. He tells Lin that if he kills him, he will become the enemy of all the people of the whole island. He asks him not to engage in hostile behavior in his territory, otherwise he will die horribly. Lin tells the emperor that half of the island is under his control, and that even the emperor must obey him. He says that the south is turbulent, and ships are hard to navigate, but that there is a way to the north through the frozen north. He adds that the north is full of savages, and he will not be afraid even though he has to travel north.
