In the midst of the battle, the new leader of the thieving sect tries to convince the old one to let him go. The old leader refuses, saying that the previous beating wasn't enough to warrant a second attack. The new leader, however, is willing to give up his life if the old leader agrees to join the new sect. The two men discuss the possibility of the two groups forming a new organization, and the old man says that he'll do whatever it takes to make sure that the new group doesn't have to go through with the plan.
