In this chapter, the two young women discuss the fate that brought them together. After their first time in prison, they learned to distinguish between martial arts masters and to live a "modest and prudent" life. They are sentenced to serve a total of two years in prison. The two women decide that they should escape from prison and become martial artists. They decide to use their brains and their skills to solve the problem of friendship between men instead of plagiarizing from other authors. The female prison officer is a woman, and the two women agree to continue reading the story.
