In this chapter, we meet the second master of a martial arts sect. He tells us that he once wanted to be alone in the world of martial arts, but then he met the one who was better than him. Since then, he has decided to follow the other master. The two of them have a carefree life together. The second master tells him that he was born with a white hair, but as more people joined his sect, his hair began to grow less and less. He blames himself for this, since he is closest to the master. He also tells the story of how he set a rule that if he fails a challenge, he will have to pay a certain amount of money. He says that this is a good thing, since it increases his income and he gets to fight with other martial artists. The first master tells us about how his family forced him to go out and find a date, but he was rejected many times. His parents said that martial artists were all freaks, so he decided to run away from home and try his hand at martial arts. He explains that he had heard that he has superb swordsmanship, and so he came to try. The fee for the challenge is a hundred taels, and the first master says that he can go on a date with his new hairstyle.
