Worried about his friend's mental health, curly tells him that his friend has left him for another scholar. Intrigued by the story, curly reveals that he has done his research and found that the scholar is a "locally well- known beautiful man" who lacks the "most fundamental knowledge" compared to the "ordinary people" of the martial arts.
