Meanwhile, back at the palace, we find out that the little tail of the snake demon is actually a member of the court, and not the other sects. It turns out that he was just asking to be cleaned up by the other disciples, and that's why he's here. The little tail is so upset that he can't believe how many people there are. He's even more upset when he realizes that they're actually the court's own disciples, not the "nice sects" like the Buddhists and the Taoists. He wants to know how they managed to get past the "snake demon's" formation, and how they'll be able to do the same to the "dark vigor warrior" . The only one left, he says, is the "bright vigor warrior," and he'll show him the "unbridgeable gap" between them.
