In this short scene, the two young men discuss the upcoming trip to the west coast of China. They decide to make lunch boxes for each other and knock on the door of the other's bedroom to see if the girl there has come to see them. When the girl comes in, the young men are shocked to find that the girl has broken into their bedroom without their permission. The young men decide that the university life belongs to them and that they would do anything for it. The next day, however, the girl does not come to visit them. She tells them that she is sick and will not be able to join them on the trip, so they decide to postpone the trip. The elder fang tells the younger man that there is no information about the young man named Luo feng in the university system, and that he is not even a member of the military district.
