The next morning, the two students meet in the courtyard of the university's main building, where the students have been studying for the past two years. The two exchange pleasantries, and the students decide that they will meet again at the pond in the evening. When they do meet again, however, the students are interrupted by the arrival of Luo-Feng, who tells them that he has written a love letter to them both, and that he will meet them at 6pm in the gazebo of the lotus pond on the campus. He tells the students that he is a "nerd" and that they should focus on their studies as students, as he loves them both and wants to keep doing so. When the students realize that the song they are studying is a love song, they realize that they have met for the very first time, and they decide to be their boyfriend and girlfriend, respectively. They both agree that they would like to be friends if they were to transfer to the class of the other students. They also agree to do whatever they need to do to win the other student's love, and when they see that she is also there to buy breakfast for her friend, they both rush to her aid.
