This chapter opens with the arrival of a mysterious man. It is the uncle of the spring seedlings orphanage. The man tells the uncle that the orphanage is in danger of being torn down because the land across from it is owned by the "tiehong group" . The uncle tells the man that the land belongs to the "zhang family" and that the man should get out of the orphanage or he will call the police. The old man begs the old man not to waste his time with the man, but to make the wish of the man come true.
