This chapter opens on the foot of a sacred mountain in the middle of nowhere. It's the same mountain where Hu's father was kidnapped and killed by the "Seven Atheism Evil sect" . The evil sect wants to exchange hostages with the Miao family, so they're going to set up a hostage exchange place on the mountain. The two of them are going to bring Hu back to the village, and then they'll go to the mountain to rescue the fox. The Miao concubine is going to be there, too, and she's going to try to poison the elder Hu with the poison. The elder Hu is freaking out, because he's been poisoned by "the bloodthirsty" concubines. He's so freaking out that he doesn't even want to let go of the poisoned Hu. He tells the elder to let them go at once, so that they can all go to hell at once.
