In this chapter, we learn more about the relationship between Lin and Han. It turns out that Lin is a little brother to boss lin, and that he's been shopping and eating like a man. Lin thinks that this is hilarious, but he also thinks that it's a little weird that Lin picks earrings while acting like a guy. Lin finally tells him that they're still negotiating about the additional funding for the army. Lin says that he assumed that Lin wanted to talk about his rebellion or their relationship in general, but Lin is not obligated to attend his farewell three days after he returns home. Lin also says that the common people are always thirsty for drama throughout history, so Lin says he'll meet him in western Turkey after he takes care of business for daqi. Lin asks if Lin understands what a long distance relationship is, and Lin explains that he will visit Lin often in the west. Lin is surprised that Lin didn't realize that Lin and he would eventually separate, because Lin is too narrow-minded to be visionary. Lin agrees that Lin deserves to rule as emperor, and he is relieved that he finally asks the questions that he has been nagging at for several days.
