In this chapter, we learn that the princess is expecting a baby girl, and that the duke and han are trying to make the princess lose the throne by tricking her into believing that she is pregnant. The duke says that he has been trying to trick the princess into thinking that her father is trying to take over the emperor's throne, but the princess has refused to hear of the duke's plan. He tells her that he is merely trying to get her to listen to his plan, but she is not listening to him. She tells him that she cannot bear to hear about her father's plot, and the duke tells her to touch the baby, as it is time for her to take her medicine. He says that because of their friendship, he traveled a long way to get to this point, and he tells the princess that she needs to be beaten up, as the leader nearly succeeds, but he succeeds before him. The princess says that she has been putting some food in han's food to make him think he is pregnant, so he can see her lie through. She says that young people nowadays are having trouble giving birth because of the difficulty in getting pregnant. She asks if they have anything else she should know about, and han says he will come to accompany her later
