In the dead of night, Hirokazu wakes up and tells his sister, saki, that he has no choice but to do what he has to do. He tells her that his parents died in a car accident when he was a child, and that his mother raised him in their place. Aww, that's why orphans are so annoying, he says. He also tells saki that he is her sister, too, because she has a mom and a dad. He's happy to hear that she's getting married, because he's saved enough for them to get married. But then saki tells him that the police officer they're looking for is keeping his identity a secret, so they'll have to figure out who he is. They'll also have to confirm his identity with the police personnel database, which is off-limits to the public, so it'll take a while, but they can use it to negotiate with the officer.
