The quickening doesn't seem to be coming any closer. The guys are still trying to get the girls to eat from their hands, but they're getting tired of it. They're not going to stop until they kill the girls. They don't want to kill their own people, they say, so they just want to see how beautiful the girls are. The girls are all unconscious, and they think the koro kids are causing trouble. They think they'll take things to the next level. The kids are dead, and the guys are confused. He's not happy about killing his own people. He wants to know what's wrong with the hostage. He left it for the boys, and he's worried that something went wrong. He runs around trying to figure out what happened, but he can't find the fifth friend. He asks where the baby is, and she's nowhere to be found. He tells the kids that he'll break their necks, and then they can all go to heaven. He says he'd have killed himself if he hadn't been a part of the rescue team.
