They're talking about the new police chief, who's just arrived in Okayinawa. He's not going to be able to talk to them for a while, so they're going to have to wait until the next day to get their new leader's message. They eat dinner together, and she's super excited about it. She's also super excited when she hears that the police chief's voice mail has gone to voice mail. Uh-oh. The police chief just died, apparently, and he's a super-intendent general, which means he'll be in charge of all the police forces in the country. She doesn't like that idea, though, because she thinks it'll only make things worse.
