The chapter opens with a flashback to the previous chapter, in which Yui and her friends discuss the murder of a man at a hotel. The flashback shows Yui's reaction to the news of the murder, and she tells her friend that the police never explained how they killed the man. She also tells him that they're going to make a home movie about the murder in which they dismember the body. The chapter ends with a police report about a house fire that claimed the lives of four people. The report says that the four men tried to light a cigarette but were unable to do so, and the house caught on fire. The police chief doesn't seem to have any idea what happened, and he's humiliated and furious. The group decides to search every hotel in the city for the party they've been invited to.
