The next morning, the student council office asks Lu to get through to the president's cell phone. Lu tells the office that he's fine, and that he heard someone knocking on the door, so he figured that it was the president. Lu says that he already guessed that the president had special relations with the vice president, but he doesn't mind that others see him that way. He also has something to protect, he says, and he has never had a regret. Lu asks what he believes in. He says that people can't always control themselves, but that he believes that he can control his own situation. He claps and says that everything is beginning to fall into place.
