In this chapter, we learn that Nemo's daughter, Lily, has learned to talk back to him. She's so excited that she wants to stay and read with Nemo. She tells him that she's here to find Nemo a book to read. He's too busy reading to worry about Lily's feelings. He tells her that he'll find her a place to stay. Lily is all, "I'm just a toy" . She wants to know how it feels to be locked up in a room with no one else around. Nemo tells her to go away.
