Now that the monster has disappeared, the Governess is left alone with her sister. She tells her sister that she must come to see her. The Governess tells her that the wound on the monster's head is closing up, and she must hurry to get him out of harm's way. She asks her sister to look after her brother, who is bleeding from the wound. When she asks him why he hates her and everyone else, he tells her to stop playing with the monster and run away. He tells her she is a slimeball, and that he will curse her until she forgets him and saves him. When he hears the sound of a thud, he realizes that they are getting out of the room. He asks his sister to go to sleep, but she refuses, saying that they must get out of there.
