About This Chapter
Shortly after the wedding of Leticiel, the kingdom of Zelryde is invaded by a neighboring kingdom. The King of the neighboring kingdom commands his men to fight off the attack. Zelyde's forces are tremendous, and many of the King's men are injured. The men do not seem to be able to use magic to repel the enemy, but the King says that he can't capture the princess, because she is still a girl. He says that it is a shame that the King was killed so quickly, because he was so skilled at sorcery. The enemy soldiers suddenly enter the castle, and the King commands them to retreat to the castle's central tower.
