In this short scene, the Governess asks her master why he is so angry with the world. She tells him that he has never gotten mad at anyone since he was a child. If he is angry at his master for taking away one of his soul, then he should be angry at the man who took away his soul. The Governess says that she will go with her master to get revenge on the man. She says that if she does not get her soul back, she will not be able to be herself anymore. She wonders why there is no hatred in the world when she thinks about the fact that she cant be immortal. She also says that without her soul, she cannot cultivate her body properly. She feels that she has no intention of searching for the lost soul of her master. When she asks why she is still feeling this way, she is told that she was just testing the man with sweet words. She asks if she was testing him, and he says that he was not just testing him. He tells her that she is about to pass the script, and that she must go back to her human world. He says that it is too hard for her to walk fast, as she is old. She reminds him of the happy days they had spent together.
