About This Chapter
The next day, the two of them discuss the events of the previous day. The first is that Mr. Dupuis did not pay any attention to the situation at the hospital, and that is why he did not recognize that his sister was lying in the bed. The second is that, as a brother, he wants to stand up for his sister, but he has not yet admitted that he paid anyone to beat her or to get her so that he does not admit that he did it. He says that if someone forced him into donating blood, he would be just as virtuous as the person who put a gun to his head. The third is that if he really did it, he will go to his sister's bedside, beg forgiveness on his knees, and divorce, but if it was not him, he has to apologize to him and forget the divorce thing. The fourth is that the evidence against him was clear, and he would have been in prison if it hadn't been for his grandfather's insistence that he was innocent. The fifth is that he still wants to believe that he has paid someone to hurt his sister. The sixth is that it is ridiculous to accuse him of paying anyone to do so. He admits that he investigated the matter himself, and if he had two people to blame, what would he need the most? The good vibes of the time were 20 points higher than the bad vibes. The seventh is that she was his girlfriend in college, and they rekindled their love. The eighth says that she is the other woman.
