Okay, Shmoo, we're back with Shmoo. Shmoo's still bummed about the jerky, but he's also excited about the chance to meet the old man again. He wants Shmoo to teach him some of the martial arts he learned in the first part of the story, so Shmoo can use them in the future. He asks Shmoo if he can help him find the direction of the town on the map, and Shmoo promises to send a thank you note to the old guy's house the next day. He's not sure if Shmoo will be able to make it to the house on time, but Shmoo says he'll try to find a way to get there. He tells Shmoo that he can jump off a cliff to find some scrolls when he gets back, and then they can go back to the village to meet up with the old guys. He doesn't want to miss this time, so he asks where they're staying, and where Shmoo should send the thank-you note, and so on. He almost forgets to ask where they live, and suddenly Shmoo wonders if the plots in the new script are as simple as the ones in the old one. He wonders if it's the friendly grandpa's power that's so powerful in this new script, or if the young people in this story are really in love with one another, and that Shmoo is just trying to protect them from the other girl.
