The scene opens with a brief reunion between the two characters, who have not seen each other for four years. The two men hug and reminisce about their college days together, when they were both students at the University of Pennsylvania. When they are alone, the two men reminisce about the time they worked as extras in the production of Beauty and the Beast together. When the scene ends, the men are alone again, and the narrator tells us that he feels like he is "trapped as a chicken" in the crowd. He wonders if he will be able to let the two of them "be together while one" and "reincarnate as hell i will" .
