The scene opens with a conversation between Ming and Su. Ming asks Su to tell him what happened on the set. Su tells him that she was injured in an accident and that her husband, chen, had gone to the hospital. Ming is surprised to learn that the man who was supposed to be pushing Su to the side was actually pushing her. He also learns that wang Xueyi had told Su that she had been injured because of him. Ming introduces himself as the "investor of eternal happiness" and tells Su that he had missed her audition because he had made soup for her. Su is shocked to see Ming, who had told her that he wanted to work on the new show. Ming says that he has always admired Su and that he is making the show for her because he hopes to work with her in the future.
