The story opens with a prologue in which the protagonist laments the fact that he has been given another chance at life. He is now preparing a new life script, which is currently in the testing stage. The protagonist is hoping to change his fate and reach the pinnacle of his life, but the unreliable system of the script has tricked him with a bad script. He wonders why the heroine in the script is different from the heroine of other scripts, and wonders if the heroine is in love with the protagonist. He also wonders whether the protagonist's grandfather is pregnant. He apologizes to his wife and tells her that he is her husband.
