About This Chapter
The next morning, Mr. Qin asks what the result of the conversation was. The gangster tells him that Miss Su heard the truth, and that Miss Aya knocked Miss Su unconscious. Miss Su asked the gangster to help her get rid of Miss Araya, and the two of them knocked each other unconscious. The truth about the events of the previous day was not revealed, because Miss Su paid people to injure her, and then blames the accident on her husband, who was riding in the car. The only reason Miss Su didn't know the truth was because she wanted to marry the Qin family, and she pretended to be in love with Mr. Quin. Mr. Quaint, however, is not fooled by Miss Su's lie, and he tells her to stop writing, as his hand has not recovered. He tells Miss Su that he is okay, and they go inside the house to find it on fire. The flames are everywhere, and Miss Su cries out that she cannot go in, as her house is on the fire. Mr Quaint tells her that he will take her home, but that she will have to live with him for a while.
