Aunt Marmee asks little mo how he's doing. He hasn't confirmed his relationship yet, but he just got back from a trip. She tells him that his father is in a serious car accident, and that he'll be back in a couple of days to find him. She also tells him about the fight between little mo and his brother, and how little mo's brother left looking pale, and has not been back to his father's house since. Auntie Marmee tells little mo that she's the only one who can count on his support, and he should stick to his plan to get back to the family fortune. She warns him to remember his promise, or she won't be able to have fun with him. Little mo says that he and little ge have a good relationship, and she tells him to have a girlfriend. He says that's fine, but that he has fallen in love with someone else. He asks her if she wants to take him back, but she says that she loves him and will respect him as he is.
