In this short scene, the narrator introduces us to his new friend, mo qian. He tells us that he and little yun are best friends, and that little fang is the one who is causing trouble. He also says that he wants to find her a "soulmate" so that they can be as happy together as the two of them. The narrator then tells us about how congyun tried to get him to work for him, but he declined, and now he is being punished for it by his family. He asks if they can take him to the Haunted House, and they agree. They will have dinner together, and the narrator wants to know what kind of a date this is. He wants to go to the haunted House, but his uncle will beat him up if he does so. He then asks if he should be angry, since he is on a date, but the narrator tells him that he is already a "mature adult" and that he should not act as stingy as mo yan. He promises to punish him by having him take his photo.
