Do Not Reject Me

In this chapter, the narrator explains that he has been looking for someone for a long time, and that he saw the "selfie" in the teacher's room the other day. He asks the teacher if she has rejected the female teacher, and the teacher replies that she has. The narrator asks if she knows that she is looking for a man, and she says that she knows she is. She tells him that she went to ask her friend, little Gefang, if he is coming, and he says that he is. The teacher says that little Ge is not only her friend but also her colleague at work, and asks him to meet her at 3pm. She says she has half an hour before he is supposed to arrive, but she is grateful that he will be there. She explains that she almost thought that she would never see him again, but now that he seems happy, she feels envious of him. He seems like he does not even know whether he is gay or straight, she says, and it is okay for her to treat him as such. She adds that it is better to fight for his love and prove to him that you are the most suitable person for him, than to leave him with regrets.
