The Governess asks the Governess what's going on with her, and she tells her that she's just taking a trip with a friend. She doesn't want to tell him that he's being scammed, but she does want to know why he suddenly wants to go back to his parents' house. She asks if there's still some part of him that wants to reconcile with his parents, and he says that he still wishes to go home someday, but that he needs to understand that if he really comes out as a homosexual, then he can't go back. She tells him that his father has already paid for the trip, and that he should have thought about it before he made the decision
