In this chapter, Shmoop continues to write about the adventures of his star puppy. He tells Pet that he and Pet have become "two ordinary people" for the first time. Pet likes pink and all the soft, fluffy things, and she has to use "tissue with cute print" on it. He goes to the grocery store with Pet to buy some food. Pet is worried about him, but she insists on helping him prepare the food. She eats almost half of the food by herself. She tells him that there is a "side of her" that he doesn't usually get to see, and he takes this as his reward for waiting patiently for her. He says he'll see Pet next time he's on vacation, but that he had a "joyful day" with food and a "hot guy" . He asks Pet if he practices scenes with kissing other guys, and Pet says he used to be jealous when he and Luo kissed, but now that he has been living with other men, he can't be jealous of Luo anymore. He notices that Pet is different from the "childish kid" he was when they first met, and that Pet has grown up a lot since then. He thinks Pet is a bit of a "stable, reliable, mature, experienced, older, and man of these" guy, but he also thinks Pet likes the way he sings. He's serious about games, he says.
