When the curtain rises, the stage manager tells the audience that the show is over and that he cannot find any of the students to perform with him. He asks the audience to cheer him up, but they do not. He tells them that he has seen some of the student's fan art and that the student is "not that bad" . He then tells them to cheer up because he has made a mistake and that they should not be so hard on him. The audience cheers him up and he falls to the ground.
