In this chapter, we find out that we're in the middle of a game of hide-and-seek, and that the game is being played by the two of them, not the other way around. It turns out that they're not the only ones in the game who's in a bad mood: the other guys are also in a terrible mood, and they've all been waiting for the game to start. They've been waiting all day for the cards to be hidden in the dark, and now they can't find them. The only thing they can do is hide the cards in bright places, so that they won't be able to see what's going on behind them. They can just pretend that they aren't there, and then they'll find the cards. This is the only way they can play the game, and it's the best way for them to get away from each other.
