Back at his office, Yonkitch finds himself in the middle of a conversation with his former assistant, Eric. He's worried that his former boss has lost his memory, and he wants to find out what's going on. He wants to return to his old job, but he can't bring himself to leave the company, so he's happy to be back at his old company. He tells Eric that he'd like him to come back to work for him, since he has some important business to attend to. He also wants to know if he'll be able to visit his ailing husband, who's in the hospital. He asks if the family will let him in, but Yonker points out that his husband's family is too busy to visit him, so Yonker has to ask the doctors and nurses if Yonker is still alive.
