Ren ping has a bad feeling about how her mother was treated on the day she died. She just wants to collect evidence to prove that she was the one who was responsible for her mother's death. She tells Lu that she is going to check in on him in the ward. He thanks her for checking in and tells her that he will make public all the bad things he ever did. He also tells Ren that he knows how Ren's father got into prison because Ren cooked the company's books and fabricated evidence to support his case. Ren tells him that he ruined her life with his selfishness. She begs him to give her all the evidence she has. He refuses, saying that he cannot control his hands and that he would make the family suffer their punishment
