The scene opens in the middle of a car crash, and the driver is trying to figure out how to get out of the way of the car that's being driven by the woman who's about to collide with it. He's worried about what's going to happen to his wife, but he doesn't want her to die. He follows the woman's car until it's too late, and then he's ready to slam on the brakes. The car is too close to the car in front of it, so the driver has to slam the brakes on the car to get it to stop. The driver is afraid that the woman will hurt him again, so he closes the door on her car. He tells his wife that he has been following the woman for a while, but that he still didn''t do anything to protect her. The doctor tells him that his wife has been shocked and stricken, and that she needs to be operated on immediately. The babies were born prematurely, so they need to be kept in the nursery for observation after the operation. The baby's parents are fine, but the baby needs more time to adjust to life after the birth. He asks to see his wife. She's finally awake
