In this chapter, we learn that Guizhou's wife, Gui Qing, is pregnant with twins. Gui Qing is upset because she can't bear to have a child with Guizhou. She tells Gui Qing that she will spank the twins after they're born, and Gui Qing promises to take care of them and welcome them into his family. She also tells him that the doctor has told her that the baby's due date is soon, and that they need to get ready for it. She says that she'll take Gui Qing home first and then return to the company, but that Gui Qing should hurry up and get back to the factory. She's pregnant, she says, but she's not going to be unhappy if the company has to postpone its business because of her. She warns Gui Qing to get out of her face and apologize publicly or pay Gui Qing back for the infringement of Gui Qing's intellectual property rights. If Gui Qing doesn't do this, she tells him, the royal family will be ashamed of him, and he'll have to take his life.
