The Runaway Wife

In this short scene, Mingwei tries to convince his brother-in-law to marry him, but Mingwei refuses. Mingwei tells him that he is going to celebrate his birthday by going to a fancy restaurant, where he will have a sumptuous meal and then surprise Mingwei after dinner with a surprise gift. He asks Mingwei why he is leaving, and Mingwei replies that he has come to have dinner, then eat, and then go home. He then tells him to look in the mirror and know his place, because they are both "made for each other" , and they are "birds of a feather" . When Mingwei asks what is wrong, he says that his mother has been a "pain in my ss" since childhood, and he has to show her what he is made of . He spends ten thousand yuan to make a hairstyle, and it hurts his mother's hair.
