The Governess tells the Governess that she is her younger sister, and that she has been separated from her because she is related to her by blood. She tells her that her mother gave birth to her, and the doctor told her that she had breathed her last, but that her father did not look into the matter in person. He had married his new wife, and she had died shortly afterwards. When she asks why she is not her real child, she says that she was not her mother's real child because her mother had been "muddled" after giving birth, and had passed away shortly thereafter. She says that her birth father had wanted her and her mother to make a way for him to marry his "new wife," but that the family was not welcome, because the family lives abroad. She also says that Master Gu had been promiscuous, and her father had dumped her in an orphanage instead of letting her die. She thanks the man who had been hired by Mr. Gu to take care of her, saying that he felt guilty later, and told the family the truth, and seized the power of Master Gu from him, giving him the punishment he deserved.
