In this chapter, Fang-Qi tells Ling-Kung that he has escaped from prison and is on his way back to the mountains. He tells her that his body has died, and that he wants to see her. He asks her to bring him back to his sister's tomb, and she says that she will. She tells him that the password to her bank card is the same one that she gave him when she died. He says that he will try to make her happy, and he promises to tell her a new story.
