In this short scene, we are introduced to a young girl named Qu'anxi, who has just returned from a trip to the "evil museum" in Guangzhou, China. We are told that she has come to retrieve a once-used charm from the "demon-killing charm" of the Kui family, which has been haunting her since she was a child. When she tries to remove the charm, however, the curator of the evil museum, who is trying to protect her from harm, tells her that the charm has disappeared, and that she is welcome to stay at the museum.
